Moshing into mental wellbeing

Like so many communities, the indie and rock music scene is no stranger to the issue of mental health. So when we got the opportunity to help brand an event dedicated to raising money to provide free counselling to the alternative community, it really got our heads banging...

‘1000 Lights’ is a charity event run by Uprawr, named after Linkin Park’s ‘One More Light’ tour, which tragically marked front-man Chester Bennington‘s final performance with the band. The idea was to gather 1000 musicians in one place, to perform a variety of Linkin Park songs as a tribute to the late singer.

We believed that this was a unique concept for a fantastic cause, and really wanted to get involved. From typography and textures to logo marques and merch, we created an identity that continues to hit all the right notes.

We’ve helped Uprawr to really shine a light on mental health and wellbeing.

Slow made the branding process incredibly simple and enjoyable. Their insightful questions and analysis provided me with a deeper understanding of my brand, even after years of running it. They were responsive and receptive to feedback, making adjustments and amendments with ease.

They created a brand identity that made it effortless for us to apply the new branding across all aspects of our company and helped our team to grasp the new direction clearly.
